Hello and congrats for this cool p&p! I'm reading the rules and trying to understand the boss fight. When it says "Boss fights are like a standard Fight, with one exception - their health and Hit Numbers are indicated by the die faces next to the skull in the page footer. " does that mean that a boss has 22 health? And if you don't get enough 5 and 6 you may instantly die? I'm a bit puzzled as the hits are explained further but the health isn't.
(Also, I can certainly understand we are talking about the black dice but would highly love to see these mentioned as bellow/underneath rather than next to the skull :') )
Ah! I'm sorry, the intention was that the boss has 4 health, and needs you to roll two 5's and two 6's to defeat it. When I revise the rules next I'll try to make that clearer. Thank you for the feedback, I hope you enjoy the game!
Nice! Thank you so much for clarifying this! Off I go then! <3
I had a great time playing Drawing Dungeon. It’s the right amount of challenge for me, where I feel that I can see myself improving from one run to another. The different maps provide a nice change of pace and introduce some interesting twists. A perfect game for Saturday morning while drinking coffee and taking a slow morning. I’d recommend printing multiple copies, as I always want to retry a dungeon if I fail it!
